Snow or a mixture of precipitation is expected tonight in parts of northwest Wisconsin and far eastern Minnesota as an upper level system with decent dynamics moves through the region.  Note:  Most if not all of this wintry precipitation should stay south of the Twin Ports tonight.

Snowfall totals of 1-4 inches are possible by Tuesday morning over parts of northwest Wisconsin, mainly affecting Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Price, Iron, and the southern portions of Ashland and Bayfield Counties -- The highest totals could setup near the Hayward Lakes, Phillips and Park Falls areas.

The remainder of the Northland including the Twin Ports, North Shore, Brainerd Lakes, Iron Range and Borderland will remain dry tonight.

Lows tonight will be in the teens and 20s with the coldest minimums in northern Minnesota.

Skies on Tuesday are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the 40s and 50s, a little cooler near Lake Superior.  Any lingering snow showers in parts of northwest Wisconsin should move out tomorrow morning.
