/Issued 7:43 PM CDT, Saturday, March 14, 2015/
850mb temperature forecast for Sunday per 18z NAM/WRF model. Pretty crazy to see +12 to +14C H85 temps this far north in March, but that is what is predicted for Sunday. This should lead to widespread 60+ degree high temperatures in the Northland...Only cool spot will be along the North Shore of Lake Superior. I think Downtown Duluth and Superior will also get fairly warm on Sunday, although there is a chance for a lake breeze especially before Noon. Source, college of dupage website.
*RECORD WARMTH POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY*
-The record high temperature for March 15th at Duluth, Minnesota is 60 degrees which was set in 2010.
-The record high temperature for March 15th at International Falls, Minnesota is 57 degrees which was set in 2012.
I think both locations could tie or break their record high temperature on Sunday.
