-Record high temperature Today at Duluth, Minnesota. The high temperature topped out at 58 degrees Today, March 10, breaking the previous record of 54 degrees which was set in 1990.
-Record high temperature tied in the Twin Cities Today. The high temperature topped out at 66 degrees Today, March 10, tying the record for the date which was last set in 2012.
Note: The low temperature so far for March 10 at Duluth, Minnesota is 35 degrees. If we stay warmer than 34 degrees thru Midnight Tonight, then this will go into the books as the 2nd warmest low temperature ever recorded on March 10th. The all-time warmest low temperature for March 10th is 37 degrees which was set in 1878. 2nd warmest is 34 degrees set in 2010 and in 1977.

Unseasonably warm day across the Northland. Low pressure of 994mb was centered just east of Hudson Bay Canada early This Evening - A cold front attached to this low was over Southern Ontario. High temperatures in our area climbed into the 50s and 60s Today which is well above average for March 10th. Sky conditions varied from partly sunny to sunny and winds were out of the north or west at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts.

Tonight (March 10)
High pressure slides into the Upper Midwest while a cold front stays off to our north. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected Tonight with lows in the 20s and 30s, a few teens are also possible in the typical cold spots in Northern Minnesota. Winds will be out of the north, west, or southwest at 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday and Wednesday Night (March 11)
High pressure exits to our east while a cold front stalls out over Northern Minnesota. Clear to partly cloudy skies should continue during this period. Highs on Wednesday will be in the 40s and 50s with lows Wednesday Night in the 20s and 30s. Winds will turn to the south/east at 5 to 15 mph. Note: It will turn cooler near Lake Superior as an onshore wind gradually develops on Wednesday.

Thursday through Saturday (March 12-14)
An area of low pressure is forecast to pass through the region Thursday and Friday before exiting to our east on Saturday. The majority of the precipitation associated with this system looks like it will remain north of our area, but there is a chance for a few rain or snow showers in far Northern Minnesota Friday-early Saturday.
High temperatures on Thursday are expected to be in the 40s and 50s with a few 60s even possible in Southwest areas. Lows Thursday Night will be in the 30s and 40s. Highs on Friday will be in the 40s and 50s with 30s in Northern Minnesota. Lows Friday Night will be in the 20s and 30s. Highs on Saturday will be in the 40s and 50s.
