Second storm chase of 2011

Sunday, April 10th, 2011 had the potential of being a BIG day in terms of severe weather and tornadoes in Wisconsin, and numerous supercells did develop late Sunday Afternoon-Evening, but the bulk of the tornadoes stayed in the Northcentral-Eastern portion of the Badger state, plus storm motions on Sunday were extremely fast >55 mph, very hard to keep up with a storm when there moving that fast!

Dan and I were in Tomah, Wisconsin which is a little bit east-northeast of La Crosse.  A tornado warned cell moved through Tomah, WI but nothing really came out of it, except for a ton of rain, some small hail, gusty winds maybe to around 30-35 mph, and some lightning.  After the storm moved through I was able to take some very nice pictures of billowing CB's, a rainbow, and a very nice looking sunset.

The chase on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 was much much better than Sunday:  Thank you Iowa :)  Enjoy the pics.
