Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across portions of Eastcentral Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin This Afternoon into early This Evening.

2 PM until 10 PM.

Main hazards:

Hail to 1" in diameter and wind gusts of 50-60 mph. Dangerous lightning and heavy downpours will also occur.

Discussion:

An upper level low will move east-northeast across Minnesota Today, cold air aloft combined with sufficient amounts of low level moisture in place will work in concert with some Afternoon instability to kick off scattered showers and thunderstorms across Eastcentral Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin. The threat for showers and thunderstorms should end by mid-Evening.
