Weather Synopsis for northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin

Quite a bit of cloud cover over the Northland this afternoon, and there's even been some flurries and snow showers affecting extreme northeast Minnesota and also portions of northwest Wisconsin.  Cooler temperatures today with highs ranging from the upper teens in far northern Minnesota to the low 30s around the Brainerd Lakes area with 20s in between.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected across the Northland through Thursday night.  Any leftover flurries or snow showers should come to an end this evening with dry weather then expected through the weekend.

Lows tonight will be in the teens and 20s with single digits in far northern Minnesota.  Highs Thursday will be in the 30s with lower 40s in far southern areas and 20s in far northeast Minnesota.  Lows Thursday night will be in the 20s to lower 30s.

Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected Friday through Monday with highs in the 40s and 50s.  It could be cooler at times around Lake Superior, especially on Friday and Monday.  Note:  High temperatures in the 60s to even the lower 70s are expected in parts of southern Minnesota Friday through Monday.
