Weather Synopsis for northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin

Low pressure averaging 998mb has moved into southern lower Michigan as of 3 PM today.  This system brought widespread snow to parts of South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin yesterday and today.  The Northland missed out on this snow, however, as our area was just too far north of the area of low pressure.  Overcast skies continued in the Northland today with some patchy drizzle and flurries with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s with a breeze out of the north or northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Guess what? More gray skies ahead, is this November or late January? Low temperatures tonight and Thursday night will be in the teens and 20s.  Highs on Thursday in the 20s to around 30 degrees.

Might be a few flurries or light snow showers out of the clouds through Thursday night but don't expect more than a dusting (If that much)

N/NW wind blowing over Lake Superior should generate some lake effect snow showers along the South Shore in northwest Wisconsin tonight and tomorrow morning with snow accumulations of 1-3" possible in a few locations.

Forecast for Duluth and Superior

.Tonight...  Considerable cloudiness.  A few flurries possible.  Low 22 to 27.  Wind north to northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

.Thursday...  Considerable cloudiness.  A few flurries possible.  High 27 to 31.  Wind northwest at 10 to 20 mph.
