Weather Summary for NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin
Date:  July 21, 2016

Another very warm day with highs topping out in the 80s to lower 90s.  Dew points late this afternoon ranged from the 60s in northwest Wisconsin and east central Minnesota to the 50s to around 60 degrees across northern Minnesota.  Winds today were out of the west at 10 to 20 mph.

Of course the major weather story today was the damaging line of severe thunderstorms that pushed east/southeast through much of the Northland early this morning.  Thankfully the low pressure system, warm front and cold front responsible for this wild weather has pushed off to the south and east so a repeat of what happened last night won't occur in our area tonight.

Forecast Discussion for NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin

Confidence:  High.

Tonight (July 21)

Clear to partly cloudy skies with lows in the 60s to around 70 degrees.  Winds will be out of the west or northwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Friday (July 22)

Quiet weather under partly cloudy skies.  Highs will be in the 80s to lower 90s with lows in the 60s to lower 70s.  Shouldn't be too humid on Friday with dew points in the 50s to lower 60s.  Winds will be out of the west, northwest or southwest at 10 to 20 mph tomorrow, gradually turning out of the east tomorrow night.
