Update - Winter Storm Watch now includes Duluth and Superior and parts of the North Shore Mon PM-Tue PM.

*WINTER STORM WATCH*

Location:  Parts of Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin.

Counties included in the watch:

Carlton MN
Southern St. Louis MN
Southern Lake MN
Douglas WI
Bayfield WI
Ashland WI

Some cities included in the watch are:  Moose Lake MN...Wright MN...Cloquet MN...Duluth MN...Floodwood MN...Two Harbors MN...Silver Bay MN...Superior WI...Solon Springs WI...Port Wing WI...Bayfield WI...Butternut WI...and Ashland WI.

Discussion:  Snow will develop Monday Afternoon with snow continuing Monday Night through Tuesday Afternoon.  The heaviest snowfall is expected Monday Night into Tuesday Morning.

Winds and visibility:  East to northeast winds at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts near Lake Superior.  Visibilities may drop to one quarter mile at times in falling and blowing snow.

Total snowfall accumulations:  4-8" with locally higher amounts possible.

Impacts:  Road conditions will deteriorate Monday Afternoon and Evening as snow begins to fall and accumulate.  Expect snow covered and icy roads Monday Night and Tuesday.

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel.  Anyone with travel plans Monday and Tuesday should continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Timing:  Late Tonight through Tuesday Morning.

Discussion:  Snow will develop either late Tonight or Monday Morning.  Snow will then continue Monday Afternoon through Tuesday Morning.

Total snowfall accumulations:  4-8".

Timing:  Monday Morning through Tuesday Afternoon.

Discussion:  Snow is forecast to develop Monday Afternoon with snow continuing Monday night into Tuesday Afternoon before tapering off Tuesday Evening.

Total snowfall accumulations:  4-8".
